Peplum Perfect

I'm sure you know how big Peplum is in these few seasons. Peplum has been popping all over the runway during Fashion week and the good news is that it will still continue to shine this Fall. This flattering pieces of fabric can seriously help us create a waistline in just a second. This Peplum top is chic, romantic and it's in royal blue. This super saturated hue is one of the hot color trend for this Fall and it provides a beautiful contrast to black basic. I love Peplum but I am very picky towards it as well. I have been trying on a lot of Peplum but most of them didn't "satisfy" me. Sometimes it's because the Peplum didn't hit right on the waist, the fabric didn't make the Peplum look good, or because the Peplum is too huge or too small. I know I am being picky but I would rather not have it if it's not the right one. I was so excited yesterday when I found this gorgeous Peplum top. It looks great on the rack and when I put it on, I know this little gorgeous piece is going home with me. I paired the top with a metallic and black stripes pant that I made myself a while ago. I love the sleek and modern look of them together.

My love toward Maxi dress

I have been wearing a lot of dresses, especially maxi dresses recently. I am usually a pants kind of girl but the heat has been keeping me away from them. Maxi dresses are a must for the summer in my opinion. They are easy to wear, and will shine alone without layering. I bought this maxi dress years ago. It's another good investment in my wardrobe. It's a little pricy but the design, the print, and the beautiful color makes this dress worth what it cost. The design of the dress is also timeless, I have been wearing this dress every summer and it never gets old. This is what I said about good investment; something timeless, good quality, and will always make you feel good wearing it.
I love to wear stuff in different ways so today I wore my necklace as a bracelet. It looks good so I thought, why not?

A day by the beach

Went to the beach for a relaxed day today with hubby. After the sand and sea, we stopped by a restaurant called "Boston's by the beach" and the food was awesome. I wore this goddess style maxi dress over my bikini so that I can be at somewhere else after the beach and not have to go home for a change. Fashion is about trends, accessories, styling.. etc. But I think if you choose the right classic pieces, they can be worn alone. I mean I don't want to have a whole bunch of jewelry and accessories on me while I am at the beach. They are awesome on styling but I find them annoying and some will even burn me when it's extra hot outside. This maxi dress has a great pattern, the cutting and design are great, it is comfy and it gives a great curve that you don't expect in a maxi dress. Without any extra accessories, it's a spotlight on itself.

It's time for mix and match

I wanted to do mix and match today for my outfit. Mix and match is fun, creative and it brings so much joy for me while trying out. I pulled out this metallic bandage skirt and I know this is what I'm going to wear today. Styling this skirt is an easy job; it's a great piece that goes with everything. But I wanted to do something different with it. I decided to pair it with a bandeau and a floral bomber jacket over it. Mixing something sexy with something sporty, I think it's fun and different. What do you think?

The stunning dress in closet

This beautiful BCBG runway dress has been in my closet forever. It's the kind of dress that you love so much but are rarely able to wear it. I bought this dress 3 years ago for my birthday party. It was BCBG Max Azria runway collection and I spent a fortune on it. (Sometime I lose my mind shopping!) There is also a very good reason I was willing to spend so much on this dress; you see, even tho the zipper flower is big and obvious, it's not tacky. The whole cutting and design of the dress is pretty timeless; therefore, even after 3 years this dress is still a center piece attraction !

When Spikes meet the Lace

What is more edgy than spikes? Nothing! People who know me know I love edgy style. I always like to incorporate something edgy in my outfit. What I really love is to add a touch of edgy to looks that are not edgy to begin with. This cream lace dress is a good example; it is a beautiful and lovely dress even on it's own. Of course with a black or nude pumps it already looks great but for me these spiked shoes give this pretty dress a great touch. Just like east meets west, when two very different styles meet together there's always something awesome born.
