Vegas LOVE

... and the surprise I mention on my last post is.. I am married! It's a big surprise for all our friends back home because we never really mention about it. We went to get our marriage license at Nevada and had our small little intimate ceremony in our fabulous suite at Cosmopolitan Hotel. Marriage is between 2 people but wedding is not. Wedding is about 2 family and 2 sides of friends. A lot of friends were asking why am I not wearing a white dress and I am telling everyone I WILL. I want to save the white dress moment for a traditional church wedding at Europe and at the reception at Malaysia when our beloved family and friends are around us. We have a lot on our plate right now so wedding at Europe and Asia won't happen anytime soon. But I feel very warm and happy to get all the blessing from my lovely family and friends. Whatever it is, love is the key to a happy marriage and that's the biggest and precious thing we have between us. I am a happy wife now, and I hope you are too! For you that are still looking for your Mr. Right, don't lose your hope because I'm sure he is somewhere near :)I wore this lovely asymmetrical side slit dress for the ceremony at Las Vegas. It has the sweet heart neckline that I love a lot and the dress is simple yet full of great details. It's very flattering and pretty. The dress is from H&M Exclusive Conscious Collection Red Carpet and I am very happy a sweet lady helps me bought it from New York.

Crop top and maxi dress

We just came home from a trip to Vegas. Took lots of pictures and there's a surprise for you all too. It was a fun but tiring trip and I'm so exhausted from it. I received my package from LOVE before I left for the vacation and I can't wait to share my thought and show you all the stuff that I got. I am a pants and shorts girl but recently I'm really into flowy skirts and dresses. They are just too gorgeous not to love. The fabric of this skirt is very light and it's a perfect skirt for summer. I wore this outfit and my neighbor's little girl ran to me and told me she loves the skirt. She can't keep her hand off my skirt and that's just so adorable. I have been looking for a nice crop top and I was so excited when I saw this at Topshop. Love the floral print and the details. I think these two pieces go really well together. A maxi skirt is so sweet and girly, with a touch of the sexiness from the crop top, they make a perfect outfit. What do you think?

Eyelet dress

I got this lovely dress by The Webster from The Shops. Loved it from the first sight when I saw it in the collection look book. However, I was worried that it will be too sweet and cute especially in white. I try to style it into being more edgy with my favorite Jeffrey Campbell black leather booties and studded belt. With only these two accessories, the eyelet dress is way more my style now! Don't get me wrong, it's not that I don't like cute outfits, but I don't think I can pull off something too cute. It's just does not match my personality and I always believe how you look represents who you are.

By the way, last week was a busy week for me getting ready and preparing for Las Vegas trip. Two more days till Sin City!!

LOVE black chiffon asymmetrical dress

Another asymmetrical dress?? Yes yes, I know you know I love asymmetrical dress. Who doesn't?!! It's flowy, flirty and breezy! A perfect dress for day or night, casual or formal! Since I wear black all the time at work, I don't really like to wear black outside work. However, this dress is different. It does not remind me about work at all and it constantly makes me feel like a lady and lovely. Also, here is another DIY - the white flower necklace. I really like the Marni for H&M white flower but they were out of stock from the very beginning. Therefore, I decided to get the inspiration from Marni and do it myself. There were a lot of work but the outcome is great and I love it!

Mint green with red shade

I grew up hearing others say that never ever put Green and Red together in an outfit. Supposedly it will looks like "A Christmas tree". Well, it was kind of true. But hold on, not if you do it right! There's a lot of daring trends in fashion now and I think colorblock is one of them. It could be a disaster if it isn't does well but great if you do it right. Same with green and red; play with shades and it will be awesome!

This hot pant is from the H&M Summer 2012 collection. I love the wine red and pink together with a touch of mint green. To make the outfit more fun, I also add a mint green pearl peter pan collar. A great new pair of Jeffrey Campbell “The Perfect Wooden” shoes completes the look.
